The Cardinal Nest is a 501(c)(3) mentoring organization dedicated to helping high school students to prepare for their futures. Through our mission, purpose and objectives, we are able to impact many students. The Cardinal Nest was officially incorporated on February 17, 2015, although the initial cohort of students was established in September 2014.
Mission Statement
The Cardinal Nest will provide high school students with a sense of pride in their community, hope for their future, and the tools necessary to reach their goals.
Through peer advocacy and support, our mission is to improve the awareness of mental health issues affecting women of color in hopes to secure resources and support systems for women at risk for mental health disorders. Our mental health matters, we should no longer live feeling stigmatized talking about mental health.
To Unify, Educate and Advance all People of Afrikan decent through economic growth and development. Also serving as a liaison for all Black Organizations who sincerely serve the needs of our people.
